  My wife came in to get work done and the guy at the counter started talking about work done on the vehicle done by a back yard mechanic. The back yard mechanic has had his ASE certificates in many fields for over 20 years. I called and talked to another counter guy that did not know if Ray even had any ASE. I will NOT bring any of my family cars there ever again. There was a lot more said but will not go into it. Every one needs to watch out for people like that. Gives good companies bad names

  UPDATE: A few days later, and after posting this review, Firestone claims called me back and offered to reimburse me for the cost of the damages in case they affected the cost of the trade-in.
  
  Original Review:
  I would leave 0 stars if I could.
  I took my car in for new tires in 2015 and they knocked a workbench onto it, putting a large dent and scratch in the back panel. Instead of reporting it to their claims department they tried to get me to take the new tires for free (hundreds less than the estimated I ended up getting) and then told me I needed to use my time to go get three quotes when state law only requires one.
  For various life reasons including having to travel for work almost 100% of weekdays, I couldn't get the quotes they wanted until I got the time to get one a few months ago, two years later. When I brought it in, they said they first questioned whether they had to honor it since it had been a while, and then passed it off to Firestone's claims department instead of honoring the quote. They said that claims should be in touch shortly.
  Over two months later, and a few follow up calls on my part I finally get a call from their claims department, but by this time I'd written the whole thing off and traded in the car. With that news they offered nothing but empty apologies, to which I advised them that I would be happy to leave a review just like this one.
  I would love to say this was just an issue with the former management of this one branch, but clearly Firestone doesn't have their corporate procedures and customer service in line either which makes me committed to avoiding all Firestone branches in the future.
